Troubleshooting
Overview · Getting started · FAQ
Cannot connect to Control 7
- Check that the display and network status are active.
- Use the current local IP address or hostname shown on the device.
- Ensure that the browser and Control 7 are on the same local network.
- Check guest-network, client-isolation and firewall settings on the router.
- Allow automatic Wi-Fi reconnection before restarting the device repeatedly.
A device is not discovered
- Verify that the energy product’s local interface is enabled.
- Check its IP address, network segment and firmware.
- Ensure that another service is not blocking allowed connections.
- Add a device manually only with documented credentials and settings.
Live values are missing or implausible
- Compare the values with the vendor display.
- Check phase assignment, direction and data age in diagnostics.
- GridFusion executes no new control action when measurements are stale.
- Do not reverse a power direction by guesswork; have the installation checked.
No electricity prices
Check internet access, bidding zone, selected provider and tariff. Provider failures do not block local operation. Until valid prices return, optimization works conservatively or in self-consumption mode.
No forecast
Check location, time zone, PV arrays and internet status. After a change, wait for the next scheduled forecast run. A new installation starts in a learning period.
No update is offered
Check update channel, internet access, subscription status and device time. Production devices receive only stable versions approved for that channel.
Repeated restart or “panic”
Record the time, preceding action and displayed error code. If the device remains stable in a safe mode, leave it powered and contact support through gridfusion.de/kontakt. Never include passwords or tokens in a support message.
