Dashboard and operation
Overview · Prices and forecasts
The dashboard summarizes the current energy state. Values update continuously without rebuilding the entire screen.
Energy flow
- Solar shows normalized current PV power.
- Home shows current consumption.
- Battery shows power and state of charge when supplied by the device.
- Grid distinguishes import from export.
Positive events such as PV generation, export or useful battery charging are highlighted in green. Grid import and other adverse states are highlighted in red. Numeric values retain a neutral and readable presentation.
Decision
The decision panel explains why GridFusion charges, discharges, waits or prevents an action. Typical reasons include self-consumption, a favourable price window, expected solar generation, a battery limit, or invalid or stale measurement data.
A recommendation or forecast is not a hardware command. Data quality, device health, configured limits and the central write permission are checked before any executable action.
Daily forecast
The forecast chart compares expected generation with the actual measured curve. Differences are normal because weather, shading and consumption cannot be predicted exactly. Forecast time and freshness are retained with the data.
Electricity price today
The price chart shows the available tariff intervals for the current day. Negative prices are supported. The customer price is shown only when all required tariff components are available; wholesale and retail prices remain separate.
Messages
Short-lived notices appear unobtrusively. If prices, forecasts or storage information are not yet available immediately after sign-in, live values continue normally. A persistent red or recurring notice should be investigated in diagnostics.
