How GridFusion works
Control 7 connects existing components, translates their data into a shared energy model, and makes decisions locally. Prices and forecasts supplement this model but never assume local control.
Meters, inverters, PV system and battery storage provide their available measurement data via separate device drivers.
Local preferred · vendor-neutral normalizedGridFusion verifies recency, plausibility, battery level and system state. Stale or invalid measurements do not trigger a new battery command.
Fail-safe · traceable statesSelf-consumption, available battery capacity, variable pricing intervals and the expected solar generation are evaluated jointly.
Price and forecast data remain optionalA control decision is executed only locally, with ramps, SOC limits and a central Safety Gate. Without explicit authorization, Solakon write access remains locked.
Remote requests verified locally · no Safety-Gate bypassThe heart of the system
Solar, battery, house and grid are not considered separately. GridFusion integrates their data in real time and makes decisions based on the overall energy state.

Control 7 in motion
The Windows simulator renders the same LVGL interfaces as the ESP32-S3 device. The demo shows the dashboard, pricing, history, controls and system views without access to real hardware.
Hero-Replay uses anonymized, normalized energy values. Device identifier, location, and original timestamp are not included; other displays are simulation values.
The 30-second demo sequentially shows the local Control 7 dashboard with energy flow between solar, battery, house and grid, the electricity price and trend views, a secured control view, and diagnostics and system status. All scenes originate from the reproducible Windows simulator; it cannot send hardware commands.
Dynamic tariffs
GridFusion can identify low-cost electricity periods and reconcile them with battery capacity, expected consumption, and the solar forecast. That way charging is not simply cheap — it is sensibly planned.
Forecasting & Planning
A good energy manager does more than react. It takes into account what is likely to happen next — for example, favorable price windows or expected solar production.
Local First
The central measurement and regulation take place on the local network. Local self-consumption control remains operational even without an Internet connection.
Local Network
GridFusion HMI
The 7-inch touch display makes GridFusion directly operable on-site. Energy flow, storage, prices, forecasts and system state are visible without a smartphone or cloud portal.
Illustration and technical implementation reflect the current development status and do not yet constitute a commitment to series production.
Modular and extensible
The first target platform connects Shelly Pro 3EM and Solakon ONE. Additional devices and interfaces can be added via clearly separated adapters.
Three-phase energy measurement as a local data source.
Battery storage for coordinated charging planning.
Open data exchange within the local network.
Integration with existing smart home systems.
Integrate PV- and price-optimized charging.
Plan flexible loads intelligently.
Features
Detect solar surpluses and coordinate battery storage to match actual household consumption.
Assess price windows not in isolation, but together with storage, consumption and forecast.
Take expected generation into account and proactively reserve battery capacity.
Plan charging targets and time windows in a comprehensible way, rather than merely reacting to the current measured value.
Locally trace energy flows, states and decisions and perform technical diagnostics.
Securely integrate cross-vendor components via clearly separated adapters.
Transparently developed
GridFusion is an advanced development and pilot system, not yet a finalized, released production product. For that reason we keep the currently implemented state clearly separated from ongoing hardware tests and planned extensions.
Important: Cloud services supplement data and convenience. Measurement, the Energy Engine and security decisions remain local; a central platform cannot circumvent the Solakon Safety Gate.
FAQ
GridFusion is under development. Features and integrations are communicated transparently according to the actual status.
Solar generation, battery storage, household consumption, grid imports, dynamic electricity prices and forecasts are integrated into a local energy model.
Central measurement and control are intended to be local. External services are used only where price or weather data deliver a concrete benefit.
Shelly Pro 3EM and Solakon ONE constitute the initial target platform. Additional integrations are planned and will be marked as available only after technical availability.
